Ich habe nicht das erwartet, was ich mit diesem Buch erhalten habe, aber ich habe es auch nicht bereut. Dieses Buch war so unglaublich wunderschön, ich glaube, ich habe noch keines dieser Sorte so schnell durchgelesen. Die Romanze war süß und herzlich und die ganze Geschichte hat einen mitgerissen, mitfiebern lassen und am Ende war man dann erschlagen, weil es vorbei war. Und dabei will ich einfach noch viel mehr von der Schwimmerin Sam lesen, die viel zu oft mit ihren Gedanken zu kämpfen hat und dann die Stille eines Poesieclubs findet, der ihr dabei hilft, sie selbst zu sein.

Ich kann nicht viel sagen, ich habe das Buch verschlungen, was eher selten vorkommt bei mir. Super schöne Geschichte, die spannend erzählt wird, viele Emotionen weckt und mitreißend ist. Klare Kaufempfehlung!
Ich kann das Buch nur empfehlen. Spannend bis zur letzten Seite. Leicht zu lesen, auch auf englisch. Meiner Meinung nach gehört es zu den Büchern, die man mehrmals lesen wird, weil sie so schön sind.

Ein wundervolles Buch, echt und mitreißend. Mir hat der Schreibstil sehr gut gefallen und Sam als Protagonistin ist unglaublich sympathisch. Die Geschichte ist mal was anderes und man fühlt sich als wäre man selbst im Gedichteclub live dabei. Eine sehr überraschende Wendung gab es auch. Ich habe das Buch verschlungen und wenn ich es nicht gerade gelesen habe, habe ich darüber nachgedacht. Und die Lovestory ist auch sehr süß. Ein sehr ernstes Thema bekommt durch die Autorin eine gewisse Leichtigkeit.
Wunderschöne Liebesgeschichte, die sich jedoch auch sehr viel um die Krankheit der Protagonistin dreht. Natürlich kann ich nicht sagen, ob all die Symptome tatsächlich so auftreten, jedoch erscheint es mir gut recherchiert und glaubwürdig. Der Schreibstil ist fast poetisch und auch die gelegentlichen Gedichte beeindrucken. Die Charaktere sind sehr gut ausgearbeitet und auch die Liebe wird nie zu kitschig, sondern es bleibt tiefgründig und lebensecht. Pluspunkte für das überraschende Ende.
Ich will nicht mehr sagen als: ein wundervolles Buch das mich mitgerissen hat von der ersten Seite an und überrascht hat! Die Idee des Gedichts Clubs ist toll umgesetzt und macht mich fast neidisch das ich so etwas an meiner Schule nicht hatte.
